Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jax) Sailors, civilians and their families held the base's first "Celebrate America's Freedom" event and paid tribute to America's service members fighting for freedom in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa July 4.

The celebration included a reading of the Declaration of Independence by NAS Jax Command Master Chief (SW/SS) Jeffrey Hudson that honored the 56 patriots who courageously signed it.
