AUSTIN, Texas, April 3 -- The University of Houston issued the following news release:
Freshman D'Korian Ford secured a spot in the 400-meter hurdle finals to lead the University of Houston track and field team through the second day of the 82nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin on Thursday.
Ford led a trio of Cougars competing in the 400m hurdles, crossing the finish line with a time of 52:52 to qualify for Saturday's finals after placing ninth. Also running were junior Jason Perez, who finished 12th with mark of 52:84, and junior Darryl Cloud, who set a season best time with a 53.71 finish.
