Article: Q-WEST OPENS NEW AMMUNITION SUPPLY POINT OPERATIONS CENTER

CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE Q-WEST, Iraq, July 13 -- The U.S. Army issued the following news release:

A small detachment of Soldiers at the ammunition supply point here said goodbye to their tiny "conex," or container express, and welcomed a new, air-conditioned building June 29.

The Romney, W.Va., Soldiers from the 351st Ordnance Company, 30th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, have worked out of the temporary shipping container since they took over. The new $84,000 and 1,680 sq. ft. office building contains administrative offices for most of the operations of the Scorpion ASP.
