ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- Jacques Thebault of Bordeaux, France, and Laurent David of Blanquefort, France, have developed a thermostructural composite structure with a compositional gradient. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,560,139 on July 14.
