WASHINGTON, July 15 -- Rep. G. K. Butterfield, D-North Carolina, has introduced the DTV Transition Assistance Act (H.R.2827), legislation that would "amend the Digital Television Transition and Public Safety Act of 2005 to provide for a coupon program for television antennas."

The bill was introduced on June 11. It was referred to the Energy and Commerce Committee.
