ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 18 -- John Y. Chang and William M. Facteau, both of Mountain View, Calif., Eric Goldfarb of Belmont, Calif., and John Morriss of San Francisco, have developed a device for facilitating visualization in a surgical environment. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,559,925 on July 14.

The patent has been assigned to Acclarent Inc., Menlo Park, Calif.
