Bhopal, July. 19 -- The Madhya Pradesh State Women Commission (MPSWC) team confirmed the charges over sub divisional officer DN Rai alleged by a tribal woman, who accused him of declaring her unfit for the wedding when she failed to manage Rs 500 as bribe. The MPSWC informed about its results at a Press conference organised in Shahdol on Saturday.

The MPSWC team has completed its probe into the alleged pregnancy test of girls during a mass marriage programme under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna at Sohagpur organised in Shahdol on June 30.

MPSWC team members Vanmukh Sailian and Sushila Goyal interrogated 10 tribal women for the investigations. During the probe, sub divisional officer DN Rai ...
