Article: STATE REP. DREW, STATE SEN. MCKINNEY'S BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT BILL PASSES LEGISLATURE

HARTFORD, Conn., June 4 -- Connecticut State Rep. Thomas J. Drew, D-132nd District, issued the following news release:

The Connecticut legislature passed a health care initiative Tuesday that has been supported by several Fairfield legislators and residents. The make it easier for those needing bone marrow transplants to identify compatible donors. Fairfield residents Danny Lemos and Bob Greenberger both testified before the legislature's Insurance Committee and inspired the legislation introduced by State Representative Tom Drew (D-132) and State Senator John McKinney (R-28).
