CARBONDALE, Ill., July 21 -- Southern Illinois University issued the following news release:

Attention entrepreneurs and business owners: Researchers at Southern Illinois University Carbondale have created some astonishing technologies that could earn a pretty penny, and they're looking for partners.

A special event set for this fall will see the University playing matchmaker for business and academia, setting the table for economic growth in the area and beyond.
