JUNEAU, Alaska, July 28 --The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation issued the following public notice:

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue Air Quality Control (AQC) Minor Permit AQ0271MSS01 to BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc. (BPXA) for a modification of six Lummus Heaters at the Prudhoe Seawater Treatment Plant (STP). This action is classified as needing a minor permit under 18 AAC 50.508(5) for establishing a new Owner Requested Limit (ORL) to avoid PSD permitting requirement under 18 AAC 50.306.
