Article: Investment figures double

Ranchi, July. 30 -- The thirteen mega investors who have already entered production in Jharkhand have doubled their investment from the earlier Rs 880 crore to Rs 1637.66 crore as on date. However, land acquisition, availability of water and mines continue to be the burning problems faced by them.

In a review meeting chaired by Industries dept director Aradhana Patanayak with the representatives of the 13 units here on Wednesday, the latter in turn were suggested to bring up their CSR activities involving the local land owners and win their confidence. Deputy director BML Das, along with other officials, was also present in the occasion.
