CANOLA/RAPESEED OIL

A free-trade agreement between Canada and members of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) will be effective July I, 2009, reducing or eliminating the export tariff on crude canola oil. The EFTA countries include Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. This free-trade agreement is the first of its kind between Canada and European countries, according to the Canola Council of Canada.
