GENEVA, Aug. 1 -- Alexander Schulz, Jurgen Darscheidt and Michael Becker, all from Germany, and Kurt Prevedel, Austria, have developed an exhaust gas turbocharger.
The patent has been assigned to AVL List GmbH, Graz, Austria.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to an "exhaust gas turbocharger comprising an exhaust gas turbine with an adjustable guide apparatus upstream of a turbine impeller, wherein each guide vane of the guide apparatus is able to rotate by way of a rotatably mounted guide vane shaft, and a turbine housing comprising at least one cooling chamber that is proximate to the ...
