MOREHEAD, Ky., July 27 -- Morehead State University issued the following news release:

The Morehead State volleyball program has been awarded a Team Academic Award by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. A record 409 teams across all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, junior colleges and high schools were honored this year, including 71 NCAA Division I women's teams.
