Article: UNITED KINGDOM: MAN FOUND AT BOTTOM OF SENNEN CLIFFS AFTER EXTENSIVE SEARCH

LONDON, Aug. 3 -- The government of United Kingdom's Maritime and Coastguard Agency issued the following news release:

At 22.00hrs last night Falmouth Coastguard was contacted by Devon and Cornwall Constabulary requesting assistance in searching for a missing man whose car had been found at Sennen Cove.

Falmouth Coastguard called out two Coastguard rescue teams from Lands End and St Just to carry out a coastal search alongside RNLI all-weather and inshore lifeboats from Sennen Cove and Royal Navy Rescue helicopter R193 from RNAS Culdrose. The Police helicopter Oscar 99 was tasked by the Police.

The man was located by the Police helicopter and Sennen Cove lifeboat at the base of the cliffs ...
