ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 8 -- Jeffrey Schwartz, Michael P. Danahy, Kim S. Midwood, Jean E. Schwarzbauer, Michael D. Carolus, all from Princeton, N.J., Michael J. Avaltroni of Staten Island, N.Y., and Ellen S. Gawalt of Chicago, have developed enhanced bonding layers on titanium materials. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,569,285 on Aug. 4.
