AG Bell/Virginia DOE Workshop Promotes Success with Spoken Language Outcomes
On April 3-4, AG Bell partnered with the Virginia Department of Education, Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University and Radford University to hold a workshop for Virginia educators who work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The workshop, "Optimizing Auditory Learning for Students with Hearing Aids and/or Cochlear Implants," focused on providing support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing and use spoken language in the Virginia public school systems, ages preschool through high school.
