TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 10 -- The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission issued the following news release:
Four Jacksonville residents graduated from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) law enforcement academy in Tallahassee Aug. 7 and took the oath to serve as sworn officers.
The new FWC officers are Joshua Varnadoe, assigned to Broward County; Matthew Hopp, also going to Broward County; Megan Gaus, headed for Miami-Dade County; and Ryan Haney, beginning his career in Volusia County.
