Article: Rep. Slaughter Introduces Waterfront Brownfields Revitalization Act

WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- Rep. Louise McIntosh Slaughter, D-New York, has introduced the Waterfront Brownfields Revitalization Act (H.R. 3518), legislation that would "amend the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 to provide grants for the revitalization of waterfront brownfields."

The bill, introduced on July 31, has 28 o-sponsors. It was referred to the Energy and Commerce Committee and Transportation and Infrastructure and Rules Committees.
