BELLINGHAM, Wash., May 13 -- Western Washington University issued the following news release:
Western Washington University men's golfer Jake Koppenberg, a senior from Everett, will be participating in the NCAA Division II National Championships on May 19-22 at the Loomis Trail Golf Club. His scoring average of 71.1 ranks seventh nationally and is on pace to break his own school record of 71.3 set last year. Koppenberg earned second-team Golf Coaches Association of America All-America honors last year and is a two-time Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
