Article: Rep. LoBiondo Introduces United States Coast Guard Servicemember Benefits Improvements Act

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 -- Rep. Frank A. LoBiondo, R-New Jersey, has introduced the United States Coast Guard Servicemember Benefits Improvements Act (H.R. 2901), legislation that would "amend title 14, United States Code, to improve benefits for members of the Coast Guard."

The bill, introduced on June 16, was co-sponsored by Reps. Howard Coble, R-New Jersey; Gene Taylor, D-Mississippi; Bill Delahunt, D-Massachusetts and John L. Mica, R-Florida. It was referred to the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and Armed Services and Energy and Commerce Committees.
