AUSTIN, June 1 -- The Texas Attorney General issued the following weekly column:
ATTORNEY GENERAL GREG ABBOTT NEEDS your help locating Child Support Evader Dean Greer, who last month was named to the Child Support Division's latest Top Ten List of Texas' Most Wanted Child Support Evaders. Greer owes $39,962 for the care of a daughter from Beaumont.
In 1990, Greer was ordered to make child support payments of $120 per month for the care and support of one child. He did not follow the order. An arrest warrant was issued after Greer failed to appear at a September 2007 enforcement hearing. Greer has not made a child support payment in more than seven years.
