Take our favorite go-to brownie recipe and upgrade it with six easy stir-ins and toppings. BY SHIRLEY HARRINGTON

Everyone knows what they like and don't like in a brownie. So when our entire Food staff approved So Good Brownies at first bite, we were in shock. The usual bantering among those who like cake-textured brownies versus lovers of gooey ones was set aside in favor of requests for more until the pan was empty. Now that's a great brownie.

So Good Brownies

MAKES 16 SERVINGS; PREP: io MIN., COOK: 1 ½ MIN., BAKE: 40 MIN., COOL: 1 HR.

This is our adaptation of a recipe many of our foodies use from Baker's Chocolate.
