LAS VEGAS, Aug. 12 -- The National Park Service's Lake Mead National Recreation Area issued the following press release:
This weekend is the final of three fee-free weekends at National Park Service units across the country. Lake Mead National Recreation Area will be waiving both entrance fees and lake use fees on Aug. 15 and 16.
Park attractions are celebrating this fee-free weekend with specials and discounts.
* Forever Resorts (Callville Bay, Temple Bar, Cottonwood Cove) * On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at Callville Bay, Temple Bar, and Cottonwood Cove Marinas, Forever Resorts is offering free houseboat rides to visitors and a free eco-friendly shopping bag to retail shoppers.
