ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 14 -- Franz Gratz of Traunwalchen, Germany, Uwe Has of Unterneukirchen-Oberschroffen, Germany, Dan Neumayer of Bernau, Germany, Markus Theine of Freilassing, Germany, Peter Vetterl of Grabenstatt, Germany, and Monika Zeraschi of Traunreut, Germany, have developed a cooktop with temperature sensor. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,573,003 on Aug. 11.

The patent has been assigned to BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeraete GmbH, Munich, Germany.
