WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- Rep. Mary Bono Mack, R-Calif. (45th CD), issued the following news release::
Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) today announced that the City of Hemet will receive federal funding to support local law enforcement efforts. The grant, in the amount of $53,207, was issued through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (Byrne-JAG) program, which Bono Mack has long supported. Emphasizing the importance of ensuring local law enforcement agencies have the funding they need to prevent and control crime, Bono Mack issued the following statement:
