The Institute of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture (IPRAC) presents the Puerto Rican Film Series 2009, an outdoor film festival, showcasing films by new and established Puerto Rican directors. The Puerto Rican Film Series kicks this year's program featuring "Chicago's Puerto Rican Story" a documentary by local filmmakers Antonio and Gloricelly Franceschi.
"Chicago's Puerto Rican Story" paints a portrait of the Puerto Rican experience in Chicago. The film documents the early years of Puerto Rican migration, settlement and struggles.
