Colombo, Aug. 16 -- Having a vision of aspiring to be the world's best tea growing and marketing company, Bogawantalawa Tea Estates Plc launched their first ever own distribution channel in the local market at the Salon Anthurium of Hotel Galadari on the July 31, 2009.

Addressing the gathering in that colourful event, the chief guest and the CEO of Bogawantalawa Tea Estates Plc, Sarath Fernado said Bogawantalawa is a marketing company owning prime tea estates, probably in the best valley for Ceylon tea, managing 14 large estates on 8000 hectares.
