ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 17 -- Olai Ihle of Eckental, Germany, Thomas Peterreins of Nuremberg, Germany, Helmut Schmidt of Fuerth, Germany, and Armin Suttner-Reimann of Schwabach, Germany, have developed a permanent magnet rotor. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,573,169 on Aug. 11.

The patent has been assigned to Buehler Motor GmbH, Nuremberg.
