ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 22 -- Kiyoshi Chikashige and Ryusuke Tokui, both of Tokyo, have developed a slider unit with slider. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,575,452 on Aug. 18.
The patent has been assigned to Advanex Inc., Tokyo.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A slider unit and a card connector having a slider that is arranged in a housing so as to be capable of moving along the insertion/ejection directions of a card and whose position is capable of being switched by a heart cam mechanism between a first position and a second position that is farther from an opening than the first position.
