ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 22 -- Michael Decker and Gunter Hotzl, both of Regensburg, Germany, Tobias Kern of Pfatter, Germany, and Bernhard Lichtinger of Sunching, Germany, have developed a contacting system for electrical components on superimposed circuit boards. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,575,443 on Aug. 18.

The patent has been assigned to Continental Automotive AG, Munich, Germany.
