BRIGHTON, Colo., Aug. 20 -- Adams County issued the following news release:

The last Adams County Household Chemical Roundup and Electronic Recycling Event of the year will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Thornton Infrastructure Maintenance Center (IMC), 12450 Washington St in Thornton. The event will operate from 9 am to 3 pm. Oil-based paint products and solvents, motor oil, antifreeze, vehicle batteries, house and garden chemicals, scrap metal, fire extinguishers, fireworks, ammunition, mercury, propane tanks and passenger vehicle and pickup truck tires will be accepted for recycling and proper disposal.
