LUBBOCK, Texas, Aug. 26 -- The Texas Tech University System issued the following news release:

High school juniors, seniors and their parents can attend a free college readiness workshop at Texas Tech University sponsored by the Office of Admissions and Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.

The workshop will begin at 7:45 a.m. Sept. 19 in Lecture Hall 202 in the Rawls College of Business Administration.

Included in the workshop are practice ACT and SAT combination tests with review of the results; an ApplyTexas admission application session; a campus tour; and a Texas Tech ...
