ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 27 -- Maria Elina Simon and Flavio Pardo, both of New Providence, N.J., Vladimir Anatolyevich Aksyuk of Westfield, N.J., Cristian A. Bolle of Bridgewater, N.J., Christopher D. W. Jones of Millington, N.J., and Roland Ryf of Aberdeen, N.J., have developed a infrared radiation detector with a bi-material transducer. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,580,175 on Aug. 25.

The patent has been assigned to Alcatel-Lucent USA Inc., Murray Hill, N.J.
