ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 27 -- Hans Klopfer and Stefan Pohl, both of Waiblingen, Germany, Achim Hess of Korb, Germany, and Markus Worner of Winnenden, Germany, have developed a hand-held hammer drill. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,578,358 on Aug. 25.
