HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, Ga., Aug. 19 -- The U.S. Army issued the following news release:
This year's annual Savannah Week of Night Stalker Activities recognized 20 years of aviation support to Special Operations Forces last week for 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne).
"An anniversary event like SWONSA is an excellent way to develop relationships between current and former unit members, remember past accomplishments and thank the surrounding community for their continued support," said Lt. Col. Kirk Keepers, the battalion commander.
