Naval Air Station Lemoore struck "Gold" in the Secretary of the Navy's (SECNAV) Energy and Water Management Awards program. Earning the gold rating in the SECNAV's annual program was an all-hands effort according to the air station's public works officer.

"The reduction of energy and water use at NAS Lemoore is a team-effort by all base personnel and employees, rather than resulting from a 'quick fix' for existing equipment and policies," said Cmdr. Machelle Vieux.
