ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 29 -- Barry Libin and Aaron Wachspress, both of Great Neck, N.Y., have developed a method for transmitting personal health information from a databank to a health facility. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,578,432 on Aug. 25.
The patent has been assigned to BML Medrecords Alert LLC, Great Neck.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for transmitting personal health information from a databank to a health facility. An individual's health information is stored in a database, and the information is sent to authorized users as needed.
