ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 29 -- Peng Zhou of El Cerrito, Calif., Nicholas Robert Kalayjian of San Carlos, Calif., Grant Dufresne Cutler of Altadena, Calif., and Peteris Koch Augenbergs of Foster City, Calif., have developed a liquid cooled rotor assembly. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,579,725 on Aug. 25.
The patent has been assigned to Tesla Motors Inc., San Carlos.
