ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 29 -- Edward W. Hekman of Alto, Mich., John E. Swistak of Grandville, Mich., David J. Ruthven of Wyoming, Mich., and David P. Deyoung of Zeeland, Mich., have developed a machine for press fit assembly. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,578,051 on Aug. 25.

The patent has been assigned to Autocam Corp., Kentwood, Mich.
