ALBANY, N.Y., Aug. 14 -- New York State Sen. Ruben Diaz Sr, D-Bronx (32nd District), issued the following news release:

Sen. Reverend Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) will host a Breakfast on Monday, August 17, 2009 from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM with representatives from organizations for whom he will allocate discretionary funds in 2009. The event will take place at Maestro's Caterers located at 1703 Bronxdale Avenue near Morris Park Avenue in The Bronx.

"This is a historic achievement for the 32nd Senatorial District!" exclaimed Senator Rev. Diaz after securing $2 million in funding for twenty-two organizations whose programs serve the many needs of his constituents in the South Bronx.
