TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 28 -- The city of Tampa issued the following news release:

Drivers traveling westbound through the intersection of Kennedy Boulevard and Dale Mabry Highway may experience delays as a result of a scheduled water valve repair by the Tampa Water Department on Saturday evening. Starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, the right hand turn lane and the outside through lane of westbound Kennedy will be closed approaching Dale Mabry. All traffic through this area will be merged into the inside through lane.

Repairs are expected to be completed late Saturday evening and restoration of the road surface is expected to be completed by late Tuesday, depending on weather ...
