GENEVA, Sept. 1 -- Makiko Yonemoto, Japan, has developed a modified diene rubber, method for producing the same, rubber composition using the same, and tire.
The patent has been assigned to Bridgestone Corp., Tokyo.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, in the invention disclosed is a "modified diene rubber which can be produced at lower cost than conventional ones. A rubber composition can have improved low loss tangent and wear resistance by using the modified diene rubber.
