Article: AMARILLO AGGIE RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Aug. 28 -- Texas A&M University issued the following news release:

A Wichita Falls couple, Max R. Vordenbaum, a 1973 Texas A&M University graduate, and his wife Shana, believe in "paying it forward," so they have funded the $100,000 M.A. Vordenbaum Memorial Scholarship, created through the Texas A&M Foundation to benefit his alma mater.

Scott A. Malave, a junior mechanical engineering major from Amarillo, received the first scholarship made possible by the new endowment.
