ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept.1 -- Gou Shinohara, Kin-ya Tsuchiya, Katsuaki Yamanouchi and Toshiyuki Inui, all from Yokosuka, Japan, have developed an agent for improving bone metabolism. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,579,374 on Aug. 25.

The patent has been assigned to Nisshin OilliO Group Ltd., Chuo-ku, Japan.
