OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Aug. 26 -- The University of Washington issued the following news release:
Washington senior goalkeeper Rylan Hawkins is among 30 men's soccer players around the nation nominated for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which is given annually to one student-athlete who excels on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
To be eligible for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence - classroom, character, community and competition.
