ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- Albrecht Frey of Ofterdingen, Germany, Norbert Pailer of Stetten, Germany, and Jess Koehler of Ottobrunn, Germany, have developed a device for improving the resolution capability of an x-ray optical apparatus. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,583,787 on Sept. 1.

The patent has been assigned to Astrium GmbH, Munich, Germany.
