GENEVA, Sept. 3 -- Richard Schneeberger and Abbey Pierson, both of the U.S., have developed the transgenic plants with altered nitrogen use efficiency characteristics.
The patent has been assigned to Ceres Inc., Thousand Oaks, Calif.
