GENEVA, Sept. 3 -- Akihide Sano, Eiichi Yamada, Takayuki Kobayashi, Koichi Ishihara, Yutaka Miyamoto and Riichi Kudo - all from Japan, have developed an optical orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing receiver, optical transmission system, subcarrier separation circuit, and subcarrier separation method.

The patent has been assigned to Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp., Tokyo.
