KLAMATH FALLS, Ore., Sept. 2 -- The Oregon Military Department issued the following news release:
The Boise State Broncos and the University of Oregon Ducks will play the first game of the college football season and the opening flyover will be provided by aircraft from each state.
Two F-15 Eagles from the 114th Fighter Squadron, part of the Oregon Air National Guard and two A-10 Warthogs from the Idaho Air National Guard's 190th Fighter Squadron will perform the fly-over just prior to kick-off at 8:15 p.m. MDT/7:15 p.m. PDT.
The flyover represents the collective efforts of both the units because the 114FS has been working out of Gowen Field since April. The 114FS had to find a new place to ...
